The National Monuments Service's description
On level ground in an area of grassed-over karst limestone, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-); there is a shallow N-S ravine c. 40m to the W. Hachured and labelled ‘Carn’ on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This large subcircular cairn (base 17.8m N-S; 16m E-W; top 4.4m E-W; 3m N-S; H. 2.2-2.4m) is quite flat topped. Intermittent kerbstones are visible, particularly from SW to NW. On the top of it, moss-covered stones may have been added more recently. Broad low grass-covered ridges extending from it at NW (L 5m) and ESE (L 10m) appear to be old field boundaries. Another cairn (CL009-059061-) lies c. 62m to the NE. Hut sites (CL009-059118- and CL009-059119-) lie c. 10m to the N and c. 13m to the NNE respectively.
