The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight S-facing slope within a very extensive field system (CL009-059001-) spanning several townlands. Listed as ‘Potential site Aerial Photo’ in the SMR (1992) and in the RMP (1996). A faint subrectangular enclosure is visible on an aerial photo (GSIAP R 12). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 15.3m N-S; 18.5m E-W) defined by a small stone spread (max. Wth 2-3m; max. H 0.3m) with a drystone wall (Wth 0.6-0.7m; H 0.5-1m) on the top, highest at N. A slight E-W field wall crosses the N part of the interior. A cashel (CL009-059033-) lies 50m to the NW and another cashel (CL009-059036-) lies 50m to the SE.
