The National Monuments Service's description

Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular enclosure (diam. c. 25-30m) was visible on a high altitude Geological Survey aerial photograph (GSIAP R151/2). On inspection in 1997 the field was found to be reclaimed and there was no trace of an enclosure at ground level. The location is c. 575m E of Caherballykinvarga and is within a large field system (CL009-059001-) with many cashels in the immediate area. A cashel (CL009-107----) lies c. 100m to the SSW while another cashel (CL009-204001-) is c. 133m to the W.
