The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise on a gently undulating karst limestone plateau, in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-001001-). No visible surface trace of the N end of this cashel survives as an E-W running road cuts across it. To the S of the road the remaining section is defined by a scarp (20.2m E-W; 14.6m N-S; H 0.2-1.5m), which is highest at S where two to three courses of the outer wall-face (H 1m) survive for a length of c. 5m. The interior is level.
