The National Monuments Service's description

Near the top of an E-facing slope in pasture, with wide views except to the NW where there is higher ground. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This gorse-covered and truncated ring-barrow (diam. 18.5m NW-SE) is defined SE-NNW by a shallow fosse (Wth 1.5m) and a low, rounded outer bank (Wth 2-3.2m; int. H 0.1-0.25m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m). At E-SE the only enclosing element is a scarp (H 0.2m). The central mound (diam. 15m E-W; H 0.1-0.2m) slopes to the SE, with an undulating surface. The NE third of the enclosing elements and mound are cut by a field boundary running NW-SE. There is no trace of the ring-barrow on the other side of this field bank. Another ring-barrow (CL008-069001-) lies c. 14m to the S.
