The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle SE-facing slope in pasture, with wide views except to the NW where there is higher ground. Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This circular ring-barrow (22.8m WNW-ESE; 20.4m NNE-SSW) is defined by a shallow, flat-based fosse (Wth 0.9-1.1m at base) and traces of a fern-covered outer bank (Wth 3-3.5m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 0-0.2m). At the E there is a gap (Wth. 3.5m) in the bank and a causeway over the fosse. The very low central mound (14.1-14.3m; H 0.2-0.3m over fosse) is even and gently E-sloping. Another ring-barrow (CL008-069002-) lies c. 14m to the N.
