The National Monuments Service's description

On a shelf on a NW-facing slope, in rough pasture and limestone outcrops within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This suboval enclosure (int. dims. 29m NW-SE; 22.7m NE-SW; ext. dims. 33.7m NW-SE; 28.8m NE-SW) is defined by a grass-covered random-coursed wall (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.4-0.8m; ext. H 0.2-0.6m) made of quite large stones (max. L 1.5m; H 1m; Wth 0.5m). At the S and SE two/three large stones (L 1.2m) are laid laterally across the wall. The perimeter is damaged at the W by a farm track. The enclosure is overlaid by grass-covered field walls running NW-SE and NE-SW. There is a cashel (CL008-057004-) c. 71m to the SE.
