The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating rough pasture and outcropping limestone pavement, within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). This circular platform (diam. 11m) is defined by a scarp (H 0.1m at N; max. H 1m at S). A spread of collapsed material (Wth 1-2m) lies on either side of it. The interior is level. Two other cashels (CL008-013002- and CL008-013001-) c. 31m to the E and c. 54m to the NE respectively.
