The National Monuments Service's description

In a flat field of coarse pasture and scrub, with limestone paving to the N, within a relict local field system (CL008-004001-) and a larger multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Marked on Robinson's (1977) map. This possible cashel (int. dims. 24.5m NW-SE; 20.5m NE-SW), subrectangular in plan, is defined by a platform (H 0.35-1.1m). A few stone uprights at SW suggest the remains of a stone revetment, while along SE several lengths of a single course of revetting can be seen. It has nearly been scraped away at NW. A house site (CL008-011003-) occupies the centre of the interior and the remains of a possible souterrain (CL008-011002-) are visible to its NE. A circular depression (diam. 3.5m) is visible outside the site, c. 5m to the SE and there is a possible hut site (CL008-151----) c. 23m to the SSE. Two other cashels (CL008-010---- and CL008-012----) lie c. 73m to the NW and c. 96m to the NNE respectively.
