The National Monuments Service's description

Associated with a cashel (CL008-008002-). This possible souterrain cuts through the perimeter of the cashel at NE. It is defined by an oblong hollow (6.5m NE-SW; 2m NW-SE) that may be the result of quarrying but several large limestone slabs protruding from here may be reflective of a collapsed souterrain.
