The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture and scrub on limestone karstic pavement within a multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Hachured on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Classified as Enclosure in the RMP (1996). This possible cashel (int. diam. 24.3m N-S; ext. diam. 27m E-W) is defined by the hardly traceable remains of a double-faced stone wall (Wth 2.15m at N; max. H 0.4m at W). From W-NE it is delimited by a scarp (av. H c. 0.25m) with intermittent traces of the outer wall-face; at N faint traces of the possible inner wall-face survive. From E-S all that survives is a very subtle rise in ground level, while at SW only some stone can be felt in the undergrowth. The interior slopes gently to the SW. There is a cashel (CL008-008002-) c. 40m to the E.
