The National Monuments Service's description
On a generally level plateau, in rough pasture in karst landscape with extensive views SSW-NE and overlooking Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay to NNW. Identified as an enclosure on aerial photography (Digital Globe, 2015). It consists of a circular area (diam. 10m) defined by the low profile remains of a collapsed, sod-covered wall (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m; T 1.4m). Some parts of the stone construction are protruding above the sod in places. The interior has a gentle W-facing slope and has an uneven surface due to underlying rock being close to the surface.
