The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a NE–SSW ridge, forming the central peak of the Turloughmore Mountains, with extensive views from E to N. Equally high ground c. 100m to the NE blocks views in that direction. A well-preserved grass-covered cairn (dims. at base 13.2m NW–SE; 12.2m NE–SW; H 1–1.7m) with a circular flat top (diam. 6.2m) on which is a pyramidal cairn (dims. 1.5m x 2m; max. H 0.6m) at NE. A natural hollow SE of the cairn makes it appear higher from that side.
