The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle E-facing slope with a sharp fall immediately to E. Listed as ‘Burial Ground’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated and named ‘Kilnaloone Grave Yard (for Children)’ on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps.
A very poorly preserved and badly overgrown children’s burial ground in a D-shaped enclosure defined along its straight E side by a very steep natural drop (H 4m), by a low earthen bank (H 0.1–0.4m; Wth 2.1–2.9m) from SW–NE and a low scarp (L 1.4m; H 0.8m) from SE–SW. Near the centre a few small, unworked and moss-covered field stones mark the burials. A cashel (CL006-065----) lies c. 250m to the WSW.
