The National Monuments Service's description
On level rock pavement and patchy rough grazing within field system (CL006-042001-) (Jones, Carey and Henniger 2011, 42) and 30m to ESE of and overlooking cairn (CL006-045001-), with gentle downslopes immediately to E and SE. A partially surviving cairn (10m E–W; 5.3m N–S) the southern half of which has been removed. The remaining portion is comprised of small stones revetted by thin flags on the flat and occasionally vertical. It is of similar form to a cairn (CL006-044----) c. 200m to the S, which was partially excavated and shown to contain burials from the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age (Eogan 2002).
