The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the NE shoulder of a broad N-S ridge with excellent views from N to SE. A fairly well-built square structure of mostly loose stone (H 0.9m; L 1m x 1m) built on a loose plinth. The plinth extends 1.5m (H 0.5m) to the E and 1.4m (H 0.3m) to the S.
