The National Monuments Service's description
In elevated pasture, adjacent to the Poulgorm-Garracloon townland boundary and part of a multiperiod field system (CL005-227004-). A fulacht fia (c. 15.2m N-S; c. 8m E-W) comprising a pair of grass-covered mounds of burnt stone separated by a linear depression (Wth 1.2m), noted on fieldwork in 1998. The N mound (7m N-S; 8m E-W; H 1.1-1.3m) is slightly taller than the S mound (7m N-S; 8m E-W; H 0.7-1.1m), and there is a small hollow (Wth 3.2m; D 0.5m) in the S mound. Some unburnt stone is visible in both mounds. A second burnt mound (CL005-199001-) lies c. 35m to the SW.
