The National Monuments Service's description

In elevated limestone pavement on a col between Moneen Mountain to the N and Ailwee to the S with clear views to the E and NW. Within a large irregular enclosure (CL005-209----). A roughly circular enclosure (10m N-S; 9.8m E-W) enclosed by a grass-covered bank of stone and earth (Wth 2m; H 0.5-0.6m). The location of the entrance is unclear. The interior is flat with no visible features. Heather grows in the interior and around the perimeter. The monument is bisected by the Dangan /Kilweelran townland boundary.
