The National Monuments Service's description

In dense hazel scrub on the steep W banks of a stream on a NW-facing slope overlooking the Rathbourney valley. OS 6-inch maps. A fulacht fia was noted at ITM 522175, 703358 in 1994 by Tom Coffey (SMR file). On inspection in 1998 no fulacht was found at that location possibly due to dense scrub in the area. The precise location remains unknown.
