The area is named ‘Crocán na Spáinneach’ on Tim Robinson’s Burren Map (1977). An irregularly shaped cairn (12-13m N-S; 12m E-W; H at N 0.5-1m; H at E 0.8m) with an extension (c. 7m) to the NW. The monument is surrounded by a broadly concentric mound wall from E to W visible on OSi MapGenie orthophotos (2013-2018).
