The National Monuments Service's description
At the leading E edge of a wide level terrace of pastureland, with a low but vertical fall under the site to the E. Listed as an ‘Enclosure (possible)’ in the RMP (1996). Indicated on Robinson’s (1997) map. A poorly preserved rectangular cashel (27m S-N; 24 E-W) defined by a grass covered stone spread (Wth 2.65-3.4m) with external facing (H 0.4-1.7m) intermittently all around except at W and internal facing (H 0.4m) only at W. There is a rectangular building in the SE corner (CL005-107002-), with a partially enclosed pond on its N side and a later wall is built on the outer edge of the cashel at E.
