The National Monuments Service's description
On the S-facing slopes of a rocky hill with views from E to SSW. Indicated on the 1916 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996).
A subcircular cashel (19.2m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by an internally and externally faced wall (Wth 1.9m; int. H 0.3-2m; ext. H 0.3-1.9m) with a gap (Wth 2m) at W which is probably the original entrance.
The interior slopes very gently to the S and contains several spreads and piles of stones, which may conceal features. A larger cashel (CL005-085----) is located c. 70 to the N.
