The National Monuments Service's description
On a NW-facing slope of Slieve Elva at the SW extent of a large field system (CL004-016001-) and at the S end of a cluster of many cashels and enclosures. A subcircular enclosure (c. 70m NE-SW; c. 50m NW-SE) defined by a bank of earth and stone visible on Ordnance Survey ortho photography (2013-2018). Faunarooska Castle (CL00-016007-) lies c. 100m to the NE.
