The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a high flat area with good views to N and E and Knockaunsmountain rising to the SW. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1998 this was found to be an irregular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by an apparently modern narrow drystone wall with a few larger stones near the base in places. The interior is rocky and uneven with partial grass cover.
