Revised Summary
On a narrow, well-sheltered terrace at the N-foot of a steeply rising, rocky, terraced slope, overlooking the sea and the Aran Islands to the W and c. 30m to the W of ‘Crumlin Church’ (CL004-028001-). Referred to by Cunningham (1980, 24) as ‘across the lane’ from ‘Crumlin Church’ ‘in an overgrown field’.
A well-preserved, L-shaped structure which is now accessed through a hole in the roof of a small, conical chamber (diams. 2.75m N-S; 2.6m E-W) the floor of which is covered in rubble. A narrow, rectangular creep (H 0.6m; Wth 0.45m) gives access from the chamber to a low, narrow passage (H 0.9m; Wth 0.85m) which runs in a SSE direction (L 9.5m), to where there is a build-up of earth on the floor, and then turns towards the W (L 4.1m).

• CL004-028002-_2 Looking WNW along the passage.
