The National Monuments Service's description
On level ground on the SE shoulder of a ridge with commanding views to the S and E and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL004-016001-).
A roughly circular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 14.8m N-S; c. 12.7m E-W; int. dims. 12m N-S; 10m E-W) defined by a bank of grass-covered stone (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.2-0.3m; max. ext. H 0.5m in SSW) with the trace of an entrance in the S. The enclosure is abutted by low walls at SE, WSW and NNE.
