The National Monuments Service's description
Reused as one of two lintels of the embrasure of the doorway from the S transept to the cloister of the church at Corcomroe (CL003-029002-). The lintel has an incised cross shaft which splays out at the bottom in what appears to be a broken fleur-de-lis terminal. About two thirds of the stone survive (L 1.3m; D 0.14m) but the top third is missing. The stone is tapered from top (Wth 0.46m) to bottom (Wth 0.38m) and the inner edge is chamfered to a depth of 0.04m. The outer edge has been cut so that it is flush with the inner wall of the S transept. Portions of ancient plaster still adhere to the lintel. (Carey 2008, 18-19).
