The National Monuments Service's description

At the NW corner of a field immediately N of Aughinish church (CL003-010----). Remains of a possible circular hut site (diam. c. 7m) were discovered by Elaine Lynch in January 2024 during scrub clearing. The area was grass-covered and somewhat disturbed by animal activity. A small depression was described in the centre and some shells were exposed in the soil.
