The National Monuments Service's description
On a short but moderately steep NE-facing slope in cleared and improved pastureland. Hachured on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. On the 1915 edition the hachures change to a solid line WNW-N. No trace of the bank or adjoining field walls survive at ground level. The site of a second enclosure (CL002-041----) lies 300m to the WNW and a poorly preserved cashel (CL002-039----) lies c. 300m to the W.
