The National Monuments Service's description
On level pastureland just outside the ENE enclosure line of an ecclesiastical complex (CL002-008001—CL002-008003- and CL002-008007-), c. 180m SSE of Gleninagh tower house (CL002-007001-) and c. 250m S of the foreshore. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996) and hachured on the 1842 and 1915 OS 6-inch maps. A poorly preserved oval rath (int. diam. 28m E–W; 25m N–S crest to crest) defined by a low, grassy bank (Wth c. 3m). A straight modern field wall cuts across the E half of the rath, oriented NNE-SSW.
