Historique
Un monument commémoratif, érigé grâce à une souscription lancée en 1918, est érigé au croisement des rues. Une grande colonne en granit surmontée d'un ange de marbre brandissant une couronne de lauriers, est posé sur un piédestal chanfreiné aux contreforts à volutes, ceinturé d'un emmarchement avec obus et palmes de bronze. Une urne, scellée dans le monument en 1941, renferme une parcelle de "terre française". Le monument est inauguré en 1923.

History
A commemorative monument, erected thanks to a public subscription launched in 1918, is erected at the intersection of the streets. A large granite column topped by a marble angel brandishing a laurel wreath, is set on a chamfered pedestal with volute buttresses, encircled by a flight of steps with shells and bronze palms.
