L'église paroissiale a été construite entre 1840 et 1852, en remplacement d'une église plus ancienne et trop petite. Cet édifice, néo-classique et construit en moellons et pierres de taille de basalte, est composé d'une nef à trois vaisseaux, du choeur et des sacristies. Le choeur est décoré de scènes de la vie de Saint-Benoît peintes de 1903 à 1908 par François Moirod, prêtre et élève de Puvis de Chavannes. En 1860, ajout d'un beffroi hors-oeuvre à droite de l'église et installation d'une fontaine en fonte sur la place.

History
The parish church was built between 1840 and 1852, in replacement of an older and too small church. This building, neo-classical and constructed in rubble stone and basalt ashlar, is composed of a nave with three aisles, the choir and the sacristies. The choir is decorated with scenes from the life of Saint-Benoît painted from 1903 to 1908 by François Moirod, priest and student of Puvis de Chavannes. In 1860, addition of a belfry detached to the right of the church and installation of a cast-iron fountain in the square.
