L'ancien domaine Carrère a été constitué en 1860, il s'étendait sur 900 hectares. Son usine sucrière a été arrêtée à la fin du 19e siècle et les locaux ont été transformés en féculerie vers 1913. Définitivement abandonnée après la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, l'ancienne usine sucrière présente encore des vestiges avec sa cheminée restaurée, un cabanon et des dépendances entourant la maison principale.

History
The former Carrère estate was established in 1860, and extended over 900 hectares. Its sugar factory was shut down at the end of the 19th century and the premises were converted into a starch factory around 1913. Definitively abandoned after the Second World War, the former sugar factory still presents remains with its restored chimney, a small shed and outbuildings surrounding the main house.
