Le site de la propriété Camalon conserve les vestiges archéologiques d'une ancienne exploitation agricole et d'une usine pour le traitement de l'aloès destiné à la fabrication des cordes pour la navigation, probablement construites au 19e siècle. La maison d'habitation a été reconstruite sur les fondations d'une maison plus ancienne détruite par un cyclone. Les vestiges de l'usine sont constitués d'un grand réservoir d'eau, de bassins de rouissage et de magasins.

History
The Camalon property site preserves the archaeological vestiges of an old agricultural exploitation and a factory for the processing of aloe intended for the manufacture of ropes for navigation, probably built in the 19th century. The dwelling house was rebuilt on the foundations of an older house destroyed by a cyclone. The vestiges of the factory consist of a large water reservoir, retting basins and warehouses.
