Le site est occupé par une habitation-sucrecrie depuis le 18e siècle. La maison principale actuelle remonte au 19e siècle. La distribution d'origine présente trois pièces en enfilade, avec galeries et cabinets. Le jardin conserve des vestiges de l'ancienne sucrerie : bâtiments d'exploitation, restes de machines. L'ensemble constitue un témoignage, devenu rare en Grande Terre, de ce que pouvait être une habitation au 19e siècle.

History
