Castle of Neo-Louis XIV architecture, built in 1855 by the architect Joseph-Armand Berthelin for the banker James de Rothschild. Park laid out in the English style by the landscape architect Loyre. The interior decoration had been designed by the painter Louis-Eugène Lami. It is today ruined, but the interior layout has not been modified.
