Historique
L'édifice actuel, construit vers 1660 (corps de logis et tour carrée), fait suite à un château fort. Au 19e siècle, le bâtiment ouest fut surélevé et remanié en pavillon ; le pavillon Est fut bâti. Le château se compose du corps de logis rectangulaire du 17e siècle avec façade principale au sud, et de la tour carrée à l'arrière. Le corps de logis est flanqué de deux pavillons carrés du 19e siècle. Le jardin actuel n'a pas gardé l'empreinte du jardin qui a préexisté à la création paysagère réalisée vers 1870-1876. Ce dernier a été modifié à partir de 1964. La cour devant le château a été agrandie, des plates-bandes tracées à la française ont été réalisées, les anciennes pièces d'eau ont été comblées et un nouveau miroir d'eau créé.

History
The present building, constructed around 1660 (main dwelling and square tower), followed a medieval fortress. In the 19th century, the west building was raised and remodelled as a pavilion; the east pavilion was built. The castle is composed of the rectangular main dwelling of the 17th century with main façade to the south, and the square tower to the rear. The main dwelling is flanked by two square pavilions of the 19th century. The current garden has not retained the imprint of the garden that existed before the landscape design realised around 1870-1876. The latter was modified from 1964 onwards. The courtyard in front of the castle was enlarged, flower beds laid out in the French manner were created, the old water features were filled in and a new water mirror created.
