History
Civil residential building from the early 15th century, originally dependent on the commandery of the Temple of Puyravault, of which it was a monastic barn. Two large rooms compose the building, covered with a Bordeaux roof structure. In the 17th century, the commandery participated in the drainage and cultivation of the marshes. Several estate documents from the 17th and 18th centuries mention several buildings dependent on the commandery, including a main dwelling called the Grand Maison or the Grands Greniers. After the Revolution, the properties of the commandery are sold as national assets.
