A partir d'un noyau existant au 18e siècle, un vaste domaine rural a été constitué au 19e. La partie centrale, isolée, regroupe un château, ses dépendances réparties autour d'une cour, un parc paysager avec bosquets, fontaines et bassins, grand tapis vert, roseraie et une vigne. Au début du 20e siècle, le château a été complété par une salle de théâtre et par des éléments provenant d'une église de La Bastide-des-Jourdans. Le portique du théâtre et un grand salon sont dotés de décors peints dus à Riou et Marchand. Dans les années 1930, l'architecte Jacques Couëlle a recomposé le parterre au sud de la terrasse du château.

History
From an existing nucleus in the 18th century, a vast rural estate was established in the 19th. The central part, isolated, groups together a castle, its outbuildings distributed around a court, a landscaped park with copses, fountains and basins, large lawn, rose garden and a vineyard. At the beginning of the 20th century, the castle was completed by a theatre room and by elements from a church in La Bastide-des-Jourdans. The theatre portico and a large drawing room are furnished with painted decorations by Riou and Marchand. In the 1930s, the architect Jacques Couëlle recomposed the parterres to the south of the castle terrace.
