Bâti au milieu du 19e siècle par le capitaine Noël, cette tour fut complétée par une batterie en 1875. Désaffectée après le premier conflit mondial, elle sera réhabilitée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale comme lieu de mémoire de la libération de Toulon et désignée, en 1963, pour accueillir le Mémorial du Débarquement de Provence en 1944.

History
Built in the middle of the 19th century by captain Noël, this tower was completed by a battery in 1875. Decommissioned after the First World War, it was rehabilitated after the Second World War as a place of remembrance of the liberation of Toulon and designated, in 1963, to house the Memorial of the Landing in Provence in 1944.
