Historique
Le pigeonnier est situé en contrebas du château. Sa destination première n'est pas connue. Les niveaux supérieurs ont pu servir de pigeonnier dès l'origine, associés à une fonction résidentielle. Il s'agit d'une tour carrée surélevée et aménagée en pied de mulet. L'élévation est à trois niveaux au-dessus d'un rez-de-chaussée semi-enterré. Ce rez-de-chaussée et les étages ont des entrées autonomes. Côté sud, une petite fenêtre au linteau monolithe en accolade surmonte une porte en plein cintre chanfreinée. La mouluration de ces ouvertures permet de proposer une date autour de la fin du 15e siècle. L'édifice est bâti en moellons calcaires équarris. Seuls les chaînages d'angle et les encadrements d'ouverture sont soigneusement appareillés

History
The dovecote is situated below the château. Its original purpose is not known. The upper levels may have served as a dovecote from the outset, associated with a residential function. It is a square tower raised up and arranged with a mule foot. The elevation has three levels above a semi-basement ground floor. This ground floor and the storeys have autonomous entrances. On the south side, a small window with a monolithic lintel in an ogee arch surmounts a chamfered round arch door. The moulding of these openings makes it possible to propose a date around the end of the 15th century. The building is constructed in squared limestone rubble stone. Only the corner chains and the openings are carefully assembled.
