Après son mariage en 1838 avec Marie-Louise de Cluzel, propriétaire du château et de la ferme de Calmels, le comte Jacobé de Naurois fait édifier une tour ronde de 77m de circonférence, avec pilier central, pour entreposer les grains dans des cases ménagées au pourtour de la tour. La première couverture, disparue, a été remplacée par une couverture d'ardoises portée par une charpente de douze fermes, réalisée par Pierre Albert

History
After his marriage in 1838 to Marie-Louise de Cluzel, owner of the château and farm of Calmels, the count Jacobé de Naurois has a round tower built 77m in circumference, with central pillar, to store grains in compartments arranged around the perimeter of the tower.
