Le château, dont il ne reste aujourd'hui que deux tours rondes, aurait été bâti au début du 13e siècle. Une ferme avec écuries et pigeonnier est construite au 19e siècle à l'emplacement de l'ancienne basse-cour. Cet édifice témoigne de la transformation d'un château défensif en château résidentiel à l'époque moderne.

History
The castle, of which only two round towers remain today, is said to have been built at the beginning of the 13th century. Originally, the building had a hexagonal shape, with a circular tower at each angle, without a keep. The castle was to serve as a bastion for the defence of the Bresle valley.
