L'ancien prieuré de la Poraire fut fondé dans le premier tiers du 12ème siècle. Aujourd'hui, ne subsiste de visible que la chapelle. Elle s'organise autour d'un plan simple: la nef, rectangulaire et de dimensions modestes ne présente pas de bas-côtés. La construction est elle-même rustique et l'intérêt principal de l'édifice réside dans la présence de fragments de peintures murales : scènes du Jugement Dernier, Christ en Croix. Le style des personnages permet de situer ces peintures dans la seconde moitié du 12ème siècle, voire au début du 13ème siècle.

History
The former priory of la Poraire was founded in the first third of the 12th century. Today, only the chapel survives visible. It is organized around a simple plan: the nave, rectangular and of modest dimensions, has no aisles. The construction is itself rustic and the principal interest of the building resides in the presence of fragments of mural paintings: scenes of the Last Judgement, Christ on the Cross. The style of the figures makes it possible to place these paintings in the second half of the 12th century, or even at the beginning of the 13th century.
