History
One of the most monumental and most original cultic complexes of antiquity in Gaul. Architectural complex probably constructed in the late 1st or early 2nd century after J.C. and partly demolished at the end of the 4th century. An earlier sanctuary (4th-3rd century before J.C.) must have existed at this location. The site presents a double quadrangular enclosure of 130 metres per side with corner buttresses.
