Edifiés en 1775, les deux phares de la Hève sont détruits dans les bombardements de 1944. Un phare est reconstruit en 1951-1952 par l'architecte Henri Colboc sous forme d'une tour octogonale en béton. L'intérieur est occupé par un escalier en pierre calcaire suspendu, le noyau comportant un ascenseur, donnant sur la salle de Veille puis la lanterne; en partie centrale, se trouve l'optique à focale en verre taillé, à lampe halogène. La tour est enserrée par le bâtiment technique en pierre de taille, divisé en bureau et salle des machines. A proximité, se trouvent la maison du gardien ainsi que la remise à usage de garage. La tour et le bâtiment technique présentent une silhouette équilibrée et renferment un minimum de décor et des aménagements intérieurs très soignés.

History
Built in 1775, the two lighthouses of la Hève are destroyed in the bombings of 1944. A lighthouse is rebuilt in 1951-1952 by the architect Henri Colboc in the form of an octagonal concrete tower.
