Edifice construit par Lucien Lefort en 1901 lors du prolongement vers l'ouest des installations portuaires. Le bâtiment se compose d'une tour en brique industrielle à l'élévation supérieure traitée en faux machicoulis surmontée d'un toit en pyramide. Un petit bâtiment adventice de même structure contenait une partie de la machinerie. Il ne reste plus rien des anciennes installations intérieures.

History
Building constructed by Lucien Lefort in 1901 during the extension westward of the harbour installations. The building comprises an industrial brick tower with the upper elevation treated as false machicolations topped by a pyramidal roof. A small ancillary building of the same structure contained part of the machinery. Nothing remains of the former interior installations.
