Cet édifice fut construit entre 1873 et 1876. Dès 1913, un projet d'agrandissement est confié à l'architecte Léon Jaussely intégrant la surélévation de l'aile gauche et la reconstruction de l'aile droite. La décoration de la salle des fêtes, de style Art-Déco, est l'oeuvre du peintre décorateur Henri Rapin, auteur des peintures des voûtes sur le thème des quatre saisons, du panneau du fond de la salle et des stucs décoratifs. Le peintre Victor Guillonnet a réalisé la partie centrale du plafond. Les travaux sont achevés en 1928 et la salle est inaugurée en 1929.

History
This building was constructed between 1873 and 1876. As early as 1913, an extension project was entrusted to architect Léon Jaussely incorporating the raising of the left wing and the reconstruction of the right wing. The decoration of the festive hall, in Art Deco style, is the work of decorative painter Henri Rapin, author of the paintings of the vaults on the theme of the four seasons, the panel at the back of the hall and the decorative stuccos. Painter Victor Guillonnet executed the central part of the ceiling. The work was completed in 1928 and the hall was inaugurated in 1929.
