Immeuble construit à partir de 1927 sur les plans de l'architecte Jean-Marcel Auburtin, et terminé par Granet et Mathon. Le programme architectural souhaitait rendre la musique accessible au plus grand nombre, avec trois auditoriums. Gustave Lyon met au point une acoustique fondée sur le principe de l'isolation phonique des trois salles. Façade sur rue en béton partiellement recouvert de pierre. Le vestibule d'entrée a conservé ses menuiseries, ses luminaires de Bagge et son dallage. Les ferronneries mises en place par Raymond Subes dans la galerie-foyer ont été conservées, ainsi que le plafond à caissons et les médaillons sculptés de Le Bourgeois. L'essentiel du décor de la salle Chopin est intact : boiseries en citronnier, balcon et décor de croisillon en stuff.

History
Building constructed from 1927 on the plans of architect Jean-Marcel Auburtin, and completed by Granet and Mathon. The architectural programme aimed to make music accessible to the widest audience, with three auditoriums. Gustave Lyon developed acoustics based on the principle of sound insulation of the three halls. Facade on street in concrete partially covered with stone.
