Les travaux de construction débutèrent en 1881 d'après les dessins de l'architecte anglais George Edmund Street. Eglise de style néo-gothique inaugurée en 1886. La flèche fut construite en 1904-1906 par Arthur Edmond Street, après le décès de son père. En 1911, construction du presbytère par l'architecte Pett et installation en 1923 d'un mémorial aux soldats américains. Les 42 vitraux de l'église ont été réalisés par le maître verrier James Bell de 1883 à 1893 sur le thème du Te Deum.

History
Construction work began in 1881 according to designs by English architect George Edmund Street. Neo-Gothic church inaugurated in 1886. The spire was built in 1904-1906 by Arthur Edmond Street, after his father's death. In 1911, construction of the presbytery by architect Pett and installation in 1923 of a memorial to American soldiers. The 42 stained-glass windows of the church were created by master glazier James Bell from 1883 to 1893 on the theme of the Te Deum.
